About Us

After years of working in both corporate and private event planning, Catherine moved to Italy with her children. They resided in a small village in the Tuscan countryside and her children attended the local school. There, she immersed herself in the food, culture and traditions of her surroundings. Vitalia Tours & Celebrations became the natural result of combining these two experiences.

Everybody has a different view on how to travel and what is their ideal or preferred method of doing so. At Vitalia Tours, we believe that to truly have “seen” a country, one must “experience” it and that means by actively being involved in one’s travels, not as a bystander.

“Experiential” tours are those which you are participating in the local culture and traditions, trying new foods, engaging in unique activities of the area, and thus gaining personal insight and knowledge. When you experience something, you create memorable moments.

My husband and I just returned from the Chianti Tour, our third trip with Vitalia! Needless to say, we are more than pleased. We have so many new memories, from the lovely towns we visited, the places we stayed, the food, wine, cheese tastings, olive oil tastings, winery tour, cooking classes and our accommodations. Trip was well organized. My wife and I really enjoyed all of our daily excursions. Food and wine were incredible. Our hotel villa was topnotch with a great view. Catherine thought of everything and even had activities planned for our boys (ages 6 & 8).
